The Faculty of Arts and Design (FAD) has been implementing study programs focused on design, art and curatorial work for over 30 years. It is newly opening of bachelor's professional study program dedicated to the production of culture, creative projects and activities in the cultural and creative sector (CCIs).

The faculty is part of an inspiring and developing region where something is constantly happening. FAD UJEP cooperates and maintains contacts with cultural centers, design studios, art galleries, not only for the implementation of professional practices, but also for interdisciplinary projects, which allows students to gain the necessary contacts and experience for their future profession during their studies. You too can be there and help creativity to grow, stimulate cultural activities and shape the cultural and social environment. Creativity and creation as partners in the production of art and design.

The study is suitable for those interested in production in the field of creative arts, especially in the areas of fine arts, new media, design and graphic design, including presentation and institutional practice focusing on planning and organizing cultural programs, one-off events and public art activities, creative workshops or festivals.

Graduates of the bachelor's professional study program will become producers in the areas of cultural and creative production oriented towards fine arts, new media, audiovisual work, design, graphic design and applied arts. You can work in private creative companies with an orientation towards product and graphic design or crafts, in companies focusing on the gaming industry, in cultural institutions, public administration institutions, monuments, art galleries and museums, but also at festivals and in theaters, mass media, and advertising agencies.

Depending on their personal focus or preference for the areas of culture and production of a specific artistic genre, graduates can continue their studies focused on production and entrepreneurship in culture and creative crafts from various angles (from management to marketing to economics) in Prague, Brno, Ostrava or continue to stay in Ústí nad Labem. At the Faculty of Social Economics, UJEP, the field of Management of Cultural and Creative Industries, or directly at the FAD, studies of the follow-up master's degree program in Curatorial Studies.

OVERVIEW OF THE SUBJECTS OF THE PPCCIs

Spend time on a general overview of the areas of history, art history and culture. Focus on the most current production in the cultural and creative environment and go to an exhibition, theater, concert, where you can observe the processes of realization and communication, which the production department helps with. Look for articles and reviews in culture and design and follow what is happening in the diverse sphere of cultural and creative industries.

The entrance exam consists of two disciplines:

• interview - determines the applicant's motivation, the depth of his interest in the chosen field and general outlook
• written exam - determines a general overview in the areas of history, cultural history and current activities and trends in cultural and creative industries, but also focuses on visual literacy and logical thinking
